Strengthening Our Formula One Heritage Through Partnerships and Tributes
Starting in 2022, we became an official partner of Sauber Technologies, marking a significant return to the world of Formula One. In just two years, the development laboratory at the Camozzi Research Center (CRC) in Milan has created valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange—particularly in the field of advanced materials—enhancing the skills and know-how of the engineers involved.
Today, we are proud to continue competing alongside Stake F1® Team KICK Sauber and to keep advancing together on the path toward technological excellence.
A Historic Partnership with Ayrton Senna and McLaren
The roots of this partnership with Formula 1® date back to 1993, when a deep relationship began with Ayrton Senna and McLaren. From this collaboration, a lasting friendship was formed between the Camozzi family and the Brazilian driver. To honor this legacy, we proudly supported the commemorative event FOREVER SENNA, with its iconic logo prominently displayed on the McLaren MP4/8.
Sebastian Vettel’s Emotional Tribute at Imola
Four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel paid tribute to Senna at Imola by driving emotional demonstration laps in one of the legendary Brazilian driver’s former single-seaters shortly before the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. As part of the tributes to Senna and Roland Ratzenberger, Vettel drove the McLaren MP4/8— a car symbolic of Senna’s achievements— and took to the track in an unforgettable display, raising the Brazilian and Austrian flags high in the air.
